During the meeting, Chairman Chief Diana provided a
comprehensive overview of the CIG E-mobility project, emphasizing its core
concepts and implementation strategies. The initiative aims to enhance Kenya’s
transportation infrastructure by introducing smart and electric mobility
solutions, reducing carbon emissions, and fostering sustainable development.
Chairman Chief Diana wealth of experience and technological expertise in
the renewable energy sector and expressed a strong willingness to share these
resources with Kenya. She underscored that the project will also generate
numerous job opportunities for Kenyan youth, as it will require skilled
professionals for the maintenance of electric vehicles and the management of
smart systems, offering new career pathways for the country's young population.

proposed project, noting that the Kenyan government is deeply committed to
promoting green development and sustainable transportation. He affirmed that
the CIG E-mobility project aligns closely with Kenya's strategic goals. The
President voiced his confidence that through collaboration with Chinese
enterprises, Kenya will achieve significant strides in renewable energy and
smart transportation, providing citizens with more efficient and
environmentally friendly travel options. He also noted that this initiative
would help Kenyan youth realize their potential. President Ruto assured full
government support for the project's implementation and looked forward to
further deepening cooperation with China in these fields at the upcoming 2024
China-Africa Cooperation Forum in Beijing.
