2024年5月11日，共建“丝路学院”项目启动仪式在尼日利亚拉各斯成功举办。该项目由倬亿国际集团、杭州职业技术学院和尼日利亚YABA职业技术学院共同发起，旨在响应中非合作论坛上提出九项工程中关于能力建设工程和人文交流工程的倡议，开辟中非合作的新前景，帮助非洲培养急需人才，帮助非洲建设和升级学校，实施“非洲未来——中非职业教育合作项目”。

On May 11^th, 2024, the launching ceremony of the "Silk Road College" project was successfully held in Lagos, Nigeria. The project was jointly initiated by Choice International Group, Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College, and YABA College of Technology in Nigeria. It aims to respond to the nine initiatives proposed during the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, focusing on capacity building and cultural exchange projects. The project opens up new prospects for China-Africa cooperation, helps Africa cultivate much-needed talents, supports school construction and upgrades in Africa, and implements the "Africa Future - China-Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Project."

严总领事在签约仪式现场致辞祝贺成功签约，并表示在2023年中非领导人对话会上习近平主席提出培养1万名“中文+职业技能”复合型人才的“中非人才培养合作计划”，此次项目是落实该计划的务实举措。严总领事强调，人文交流是中尼关系的重要组成部分，高度赞赏倬亿国际集团为增进两国民心相通做出的贡献，希望其继续为在尼中企深化中尼友谊架设更多沟通桥梁。

Consul General Yan Yuqing delivered a congratulatory speech at the signing ceremony and also said that this project is a practical measure to implement the China-Africa Talent Training Cooperation Plan to train 10,000 compound talents with "Chinese + vocational skills" proposed at the 2023 China-Africa Leaders' Dialogue. Consul General Yan stressed that cultural and people-to-people exchanges are an important part of China-Nigeria relations, furthermore, highly appreciated the contribution made by CHOICE International Group to enhancing people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, and hoped that it will continue to build more Bridges for Chinese enterprises in Nigeria so as to deepen the China-Nigeria friendship.

倬亿国际集团董事长陈秀霞表示，此项目由倬亿国际集团、杭州职业技术学院和尼日利亚YABA职业技术学院共同发起，从YABA职业技术学院首批精选25名优秀学生，安排前往中国杭州职业技术学院进行为期18个月的技能学习，学成之日他们将掌握推动尼日利亚工业发展的知识和技能，成为未来汽车行业的开拓者。倬亿国际集团也将继续推动中国与尼日利亚两国的职业教育合作，培养汽车及空调等领域的专业技术人才，实现尼日利亚行业产业链人才自主供给。

Chief Diana Chen of Choice International Group stated that this project was jointly initiated by Choice International Group, Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College, and YABA College of Technology in Nigeria. The project is to kick off from the first batch of 25 outstanding students selected from YABA College of Technology in Nigeria, who will be sent to Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College in China for an 18-month skills-learning program. Upon the completion of their studies, these students would have acquired the knowledge and skills that can drive industrial development in Nigeria becoming pioneers in the future automotive industry. Choice International Group will also continue to promote vocational education cooperation between China and Nigeria, training professional technical talents in fields such as automobiles and air conditioning, and achieving self-sufficiency in talent supply for Nigeria's industrial chain.

杭州职业技术学院校长徐时清在线上发表致辞，首先对倬亿国际集团对此次项目合作的积极推进表示感谢。徐校长表示，杭州职业技术学院积极开展校企联合定向培养，培育促进非洲企业极需人才，助力尼日利亚职业院校发展，以更加务实的教育实践，贯彻落实习近平主席在中非合作论坛上提出的关于能力建设工程和人文交流工程的倡议，加快实践资源共享，共同发展。

Mr. Xu Shiqing, Rector of Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College delivered a speech online, expressing gratitude to Choice International Group for their active promotion of this project cooperation. Rector Xu stated that Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College actively engages in collaborative targeted training with enterprises, fostering talents that are highly sought after by African companies and bolstering the development of vocational schools in Nigeria. Through more pragmatic educational practices, the college aims to implement the initiatives President Xi Jinping proposed at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation regarding Capacity-Building and Cultural Exchange Projects. It strives to accelerate the sharing of practical resources and promote common development.

尼日利亚YABA职业技术学院Dr. Engr. Abdul校长表示，感谢各方为25名学生提供的宝贵学习交流机会，希望学生们通过此次赴华留学机会积极增强学习本领，成为专业领域人才。并了解中国语言、文化、历史，体验中国经济社会各领域的飞速发展，争做中尼友谊的建设者，学成归来后最终用行动回馈祖国。

Dr. Engr. Abdul, Rector of YABA College of Technology in Nigeria, expressed gratitude to all parties for providing valuable learning and exchange opportunities to 25 students. He further articulated his hope that the students will actively enhance their skills through this study abroad opportunity in China and become professionals in their respective fields. He also encouraged them to learn about Chinese language, Culture, and History, as well as experience firsthand the rapid development in various sectors of the Chinese economy and society, and strive to be builders of Sino-Nigerian friendship. Ultimately, he expects them to return after completing their studies and contribute to their homeland through concrete actions.

此次共建“丝路学院”项目将有首批25名YABA学院优秀学生赴华，他们将在杭州职业技术学院进行为期18个月的电气自动化、汽车制造、电子技术等课程的系统性学习。倬亿国际集团 “戴安娜·陈酋长基金会”设立奖学金对这25名赴华学子进行鼓励和支持，并为他们学业有成回国后提供就业岗位。

The "Silk Road College" project will consist of the first group of 25 outstanding students from YABA College of Technology who will be sent to China. They will undergo a systematic study program lasting 18 months at Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College, focusing on subjects such as electrical automation, automobile manufacturing, and electronics technology. Choice International Group "Chief Diana Chen Foundation" has established scholarships to encourage and support these 25 students studying in China, and also intends to provide them with employment opportunities upon their successful completion of studies and return to their home country.

面对新业态、新技术、新经济环境等因素，高技能人才短多仍是全球职业教育发展的一大挑战。这是中企出海肩负的责任和担当。未来，“丝路学院”将不断创新职业教育发展理念，深化中非职业教育合作，构建优质的职业社区，共同推动国际产教融合发展，促进国际化创新技能人才培养。我们坚信在各方优势互补、资源共享、共同发展的努力下，必能谱写中非职教发展的新篇章。

Faced with New Industries, New Technologies, and New Economic Environment, among other factors, the shortage of high-skilled talents remains a major challenge for global vocational education development. This is the responsibility and mission that Chinese enterprises shoulder when going global. In the future, the "Silk Road College" will continuously innovate the development concept of vocational education, deepen Sino-African vocational education cooperation, build high-quality vocational communities, jointly promote the integration of international industry and education, and facilitate the cultivation of internationally innovative skilled talents. We firmly believe that through the concerted efforts of leveraging complementary advantages, resource sharing, and pursuing mutual development between both parties, a new chapter in Sino-African vocational education development will be written.
